Day 1
On day one, the Entry-Level lecture will be performed by two members from PWCA’s legal department—with one of those members being a former DIR / DLSE investigator for over 13 years! From the very beginning, you will receive expert, foundational hands-on instruction from a former DIR investigator. YOU ARE THEREFORE ENCOURAGED TO BRING ONE OF YOUR EXISTING PROJECT FILES WITH YOU so that we can walk you through the step-by-step details of what it takes to build a solid prevailing wage work-product file that will keep you in compliance from day one.
Day 2
In this advanced class, we will segway from the entry-level instruction to the Advanced-Level instruction. In the advanced class, you will be required to solve complex certified payroll problems that arise every day. We will review prevailing wage court decisions to show you how others have fallen victim to the lack of education surrounding the California prevailing wage laws and documentation process.
